Christmas craft workshops at Inhabit Southwick Street

This year, London’s first mindfulness hotel, Inhabit Southwick Street is celebrating Christmas with two craft workshops, designed to provide guests the opportunity to learn new creative skills, connect with others, enjoy the meditative qualities of making, and come away with a beautiful handmade gift for oneself or a loved one.

The workshops are part of Inhabit Hotels’ carefully curated collection of lectures, workshops, cooking classes and special events. Paired with delicious plant-centric festive food and drink from Yeotown, the workshops make the perfect start to a mindful Christmas.

Christmas Wreath Workshop x Sweet Pea Flowers, 27th November, 11am-12.30pm

In this 1.5 hour workshop led by Marianne Johnson of London florist Sweet Pea, participants will learn how to make their very own Everlasting Christmas wreath. Get creative with seasonal dried flowers and foliage to create a sustainable wreath that will stay looking beautiful year after year. It’s the perfect way to start the festive season and learn a new skill.

London based Sweet Pea is led by Marianne Johnson, who has more than a decade’s experience at the forefront of floral design. Marianne is one of London’s most respected florists and specialises in creating floral arrangements with a creative edge. Passionate about celebrating nature in all her installations, she works with seasonal flowers and foliage to represent nature’s own cycle. Sweet Pea is committed to finding ethical, sustainable solutions to the challenges within the floristry industry.

From using recycled packaging and delivering on cargo bike, to donating waste flowers and plants to Flower Angels (a charity the promotes wellbeing through flowers), Sweet Pea is continually looking at ways to reduce its carbon footprint and benefit the local community.
